Making cakes for great coffee shops is where Wild Flour Cake Co began their journey. Jess’s mission is to transform the quality of the coffeeshop cake with interesting natural flavours and free-from ranges and nothing beats a really good cup of coffee with a slice of cake.
The owner, Ori, is the loveliest, kindest man, first opening his doors in 2009. Oxford also holds a special place in many of our hearts, it’s such a wonderful city. Since our first delivery a couple of years ago, Ori has opened another two stores, in Banbury and Abingdon.
The Missing Bean are made up of a small team of coffee lovers, who oversee everything from sourcing beans with the highest environmental and ethical standards to roasting the beans themselves in their East Oxford Roastery. This ensures their customers drink the freshest coffee in order to get the very best out of their beans.
We asked Olly, an integral part of The Missing Bean team, what he loved about working for the company. 'Missing Bean is a part of the fabric of Oxford and it’s a privilege to be a member of the team. I’ve always loved the friendly, local nature of things while also thinking of the bigger picture and our impact on things on a national and global scale.
