For us, sourcing the right ingredients for our bakes is of paramount importance when it comes to quality, flavour and origin. Therefore the well regarded and very important annual awards scheme ensures that high standards are consistently maintained. So it’s a pretty big deal for us to have so many of our cakes winning Taste of the West accreditations.
Established in 1991, Taste Of The West is the largest independent regional food group in the UK whose aim is to champion food and drink producers in the West Country. Including all of the places that serve and sell them, to prove that when it comes to what you eat and drink, it really is best in the South West. Their ethos today remains the same as it's always been - quality, integrity and provenance.
At Taste of the West - 2018, our vegan Banana & Chocolate cake won a Silver Award. Our gluten free Milk Chocolate Millionaires won a Gold Award. And our gluten free Salted Caramel Peanut brownies won a Highly Commended Award.
At Taste of the West - 2021, the following three cakes all won a Gold Award, our vegan Banana & Peanut Butter cake, Carrot & Cream cheese cake and lastly our gluten free Chocolate Fudge Brownies - Hooray!
This year, we are super proud to announce that at this year's Taste of the West - 2022, we won four golds awards. Our Beetroot, Orange & Ginger round cake, eye catching Wild Berry Streusel Cheesecake, Vegan Chocolate & Orange Crunch Muffins and lastly, the super indulgent, spiced Sticky Toffee cake.
