Wild Flour Cake Co is an award-winning exciting wholesale bakery providing high quality traybakes, muffins and rounds to coffeeshops. We are on a mission to change the everyday quality of cake served in coffeeshops.

Looking for organised, methodical bakers to create high quality, consistent cakes. The best bakers are those who love their product, work well in a team and have an eye for detail. You must be hard-working and comfortable with baking in large batches of cake mix.

  1. ASSISTANT BAKER

About the Role

Job Type: Full and Part-time (can be flexible). More hours available as business grows.

Licence or certification: Food Hygiene Level 2 (not mandatory)

Pay: Dependent on experience

Required: 1 years professional kitchen experience

Covering letter to include: 3 x things you are proud of which you have achieved at work. 2 x things you are grateful for that other people have done for you. 1 x thing you would not like to be asked in an interview

Job description

  • To follow and adhered to Wild Flour Cake Co Health and Safety policy and procedures

  • To follow and adhered to Wild Flour Cake Co Food Hygiene policy and procedures

  • To assist in the production of wholesale cakes to a high standard as set out by Wild Flour Cake Co

  • To decorate and finish all wholesale items as per specs provided and keep this consistent

  • To ensure that wastage is kept to a minimal

  • To keep good stock rotation of wholesale/stock production items

  • Ensure deliveries are put away and checked off each time

  • To fill in all record keeping forms daily/weekly/monthly to stay inline with current procedures and legislation set in place

  • To arrive at work in a ready to work manner and following the Staff personal hygiene guide lines

  • To ensure correct labeling of all wholesale items

  • To report any issues or concerns to your manager immediately that may affect the wholesale and production at Wild Flour Cake Co

2. SENIOR BAKER

About the Role

Job Type: Full-time

  • To assist in the production of wholesale cakes to a high standard as set out by Wild Flour Cake Co

  • To keep production and weight of wholesale cakes consistent at all times

  • To ensure that wastage is kept to a minimal & recorded

  • Ensure deliveries are put away and checked off each time

  • To keep good stock rotation of wholesale production items

  • To fill in all record keeping forms daily/weekly/monthly to stay in line with current procedures and legislation set in place

  • To arrive at work in a ready to work manner and following the Staff personal hygiene guide lines

  • To report any issues or concerns to your manager immediately that may affect the wholesale and production at Wild Flour Cake Co

  • To work in an organised manner and ensure that good time keeping is always a priority

  • To develop and produce new wholesale cake menus with throughout the year and present to your line manager within a time scale provided

  • To ensure wholesale cake production levels always stay at a consistent level and that stock levels are managed and forecasted for busy periods

  • To order and manage all ingredients/packaging ordering items on a daily/weekly/monthly basis for the business needs

  • Manage wholesale orders that come in on a weekly/daily basis
